Job Overview:

  • The Relief Technician will be required to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays as needed and fulfill the requirements of a beverage gas systems technician role, within a specified geographic area (District)
    • The weeks you are not traveling, you will work at a depot close to your home
    • 40hours/week + OT
    • Travel is every other week; however, more is available if preferred
    • No out-of-pocket travel expenses
    • Additional per diem if traveling outside your assigned District
  • Perform installations, repair, maintenance, and equipment testing for beverage gas systems 
  • Mechanical ability and basic knowledge of building construction process required
  • Maintain assigned service vehicle, tool inventory, parts inventory, and general upkeep of vehicle 
  • Responsible for the safe and accurate loading, transporting, and unloading of CO2 and equipment for delivery
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and frequently maneuver 56-175 pounds with hand truck/dolly
  • Meet required daily and weekly KPI’s for delivery, installation, service activities, safety, and DOT compliance

 

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • CDL – Minimum Class B with 1-year commercial driving experience
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements and DOT Medical Card required
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English 
  • Will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen 
  • Must have a clean driving record (no accidents or moving violations last 24 months)

Education

  • Associates
  • High School

Experience

  • year: Strong mechanical ability and basic knowledge of building construction process required. Previous experience in plumbing, cable installation, or construction experience preferred.
  • 1 year: Minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience in a similar vehicle in the past 3 years
  • 2 year: A minimum of two years experience as a supervisor preferred
  • 1 year: Commercial Driving
