Job Summary: The Operations Manager at NuCO2 will support the day-to-day field operations team, ensuring that our processes align with the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong analytical skills, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Oversight:
    1. Support daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and safety.
    2. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and high-quality service.
    3. Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  2. Team Leadership:
    1. Lead, mentor, and develop depot supervisors, drivers, and technicians.
    2. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
    3. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to support continuous professional development.
  3. Safety and Compliance:
    1. Ensure all locations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards.
    2. Assist with driver/technician training, safety audits, and incident reporting.
    3. Promote a culture of safety-first and operational discipline among all team members.
  4. Customer Service:
    1. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely service.
    2. Address customer concerns and complaints promptly, collaborate with Sales and Back Office teams to ensure resolution and continuous improvement.
    3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  5. Resource Management:
    1. Optimize resource allocation, including personnel and equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce costs across the country.
    2. Assists as needed with fleet management, including vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and route optimization.
    3. Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor budget performance.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    1. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and performance.
    2. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure NuCO2 remains at the forefront of operational excellence.
    3. Lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably in the logistics or service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel to various NuCO2 locations and customer sites.
  • The role involves working in both office and field environments, with some exposure to warehouse and outdoor conditions.
